YOELEO launches updated version of G21 gravel bike named ‘Altera G21’

The bike builds on the previous iterations of the G21, with this latest incarnation actually being the 3rd generation. Yoeleo have taken on feedback from consumers and professional reviewers alike to bring a host of welcome changes to the frame.

One of the welcome upgrades to the bike is not one, but two areas of in-frame storage. By default they’re set-up with two small pouches which can be used to store tools or spares, reducing the need to rely on a saddle bag or frame bag. Another optional accessory for the frame converts the top tube storage pouch into a feed bag which can be stuffed with nutrition and easily accessed throughout the ride.

The geometry on the bike has also been tweaked. A slacker headtube angle leads to higher stability but also has the added benefit of reducing toe overlap, something that Peak Torque was critical of during his review of the previous generation frame.

The frame has also ditched it’s aero seatpost in favour of a regular, round 27.2mm that they call their pro-flex seatpost. This seatpost is designed to absorb vibrations and increase comfort – something that’s welcome in gravel!
The new version is already on sale, although some sizes are sold-out and on pre-order. For more information about the bike, check it out in our store.
