Shanghai Bike Show Day 3 (2026)
James Knipe2026-05-07T10:49:23+00:00Day three at the Shanghai Bike Show 2026 was absolutely packed, with everything from ultra-light climbing bikes and aero wheels to recycled-material running shoes and a Zwift race to finish the day.
RideNow Expands Beyond TPU Tubes
We started the day at the RideNow booth, where they showed off a much more comprehensive range of TPU inner tube sizes alongside new cycling shoes and even running shoes made using recycled inner tube materials, showing how the brand is expanding well beyond just lightweight tubes and leaning further into sustainability-focused product development.
DYN Focuses on Original Aero Helmet Design
Next up was DYN, who introduced a range of new 3K carbon aero helmets packed with clever aerodynamic detailing, while making a strong point that originality is a huge focus for the brand in a market where many newer helmet companies fall into the trap of simply copying existing designs.
Big Rock Pushes 32” MTB Wheels Forward
Big Rock had one of the most interesting concepts of the day with their work on 32-inch MTB wheels, aiming to make the improved rollover performance of larger wheels accessible for shorter riders as well, while also showing off an outrageously lightweight 5.6 kg climbing bike that immediately caught our attention.
CRW Launches New ULTIMO Wheels
CRW unveiled their new ULTIMO wheelset, featuring reduced weight, improved crosswind stability, and an updated spoke design, alongside a redesigned handlebar that builds on the success of their already popular first-generation cockpit with a focus on refining comfort, stiffness, and aerodynamic integration.
Overfast Goes Full Weight Weenie
Overfast was weight-weenie central once again with weight reduction kits for the Y1RS, ultra-light disc wheels, and some excellent new aero cranksets, while the passion of the owner for chasing every possible marginal gain continues to make the entire booth feel like a playground for true bike nerds.
ZUATU Expands Wide-Fit Performance Shoes
We also stopped by ZUATU, who had several impressive new shoe models on display including their increasingly popular EW (Extra Wide) fit options for riders with wider feet, while their new track shoes stood out in particular thanks to some seriously clean full-carbon custom detailing.

Ending the Day With a Virtual Race
To close out the day, we headed over to the Magene booth for a vitrtual race to blow off some steam after another long day on the show floor, and after three days at the Shanghai Bike Show one thing is becoming very clear — brands are pushing harder than ever on aerodynamics, lightweight construction, rider fit, and highly specialised performance products.
We’ll be back tomorrow with more coverage from the show floor. 🐼
