Description

VFV ECHO

Voice Velo are already masters of the carbon frame world however, their pedigree has been mostly off-road thus far, with their extremely high performing gravel frame the G-Major and their full suspension XC frame the Chorus V-Peaks.

The ECHO is Voice Velo's premiere road frame and it's gearing up to rival some of the big boys. Coming in two versions the VO and VH, this aero frame is designed to take you to the ragged edge.

VARIANTS

VH

The VH model is made from T800 carbon fiber but shares the exact form of the VO.

VH : 1100g +/- 2\% (Size MEDIUM 52, No Hardware)

VO

The VO model uses a mixture of T1100 and T800 carbon.

VO : 975g +/- 2\% (Size MEDIUM 52, No Hardware)

KEY FEATURES

DEEPENED HEAD TUBE

Thanks to the new UCI regulations, the previous tube ratio of 3:1 has been changed to the current 8:1. This has reduced the restrictions for aero bikes. The ECHO head tube has a deeper tube compared to earlier aero frames. The shape at the rear of the head tube has also been optimized to allow the airflow to smoothly pass through the rear side of the head tube and the lower side of the top tube.

T47A BOTTOM BRACKET

The VFV ECHO uses the T47A bottom bracket. T47A is an asymmetrical design, providing a larger space on the drive side, which is more convenient for installing power meters.

DI2 BATTERY COMPARTMENT

The Di2 battery compartment is designed at the bottom of the bottom bracket and is fixed with screws. This makes it convenient for daily disassembly, maintenance, and allows you to remove the battery when boarding a plane without having to remove the seat post.

COMFORT AND STIFFNESS

The seat tube and seat post are relatively slim to achieve better flexibility, providing better shock absorption for seated riding.

More comfort built into the frame can keep you fresher for longer and doesn't have to come at the expense of stiffness where it matters.

VFV have optimized the stiffness of the head tube and bottom bracket areas to ensure that watts are not lost during all-out sprints and wrenching on the front of the bike.

VFV have used high-modulus T1100 filament  and their own layup to achieve the balance of stiffness and flex in the ECHO frames.

The stiffness of the ECHO frame head tube reaches an impressive 105.78 Nm, and the crown stiffness was measured at 174.6 Nm.

GEOMETRY

VFV ECHO

The geometry chart shows the sizes we recommend based on height, but there are a number of other factors, such as arm and leg length, that also determine fit. To determine the best size for you, consult a specialist or fitter at your local retailer.

1 review for Voicevelo VFV ECHO Aero Road Bike Frameset

  1. 5 out of 5

Hi everybody. I rode my Voicevelo ECHO VH for about 300 kilometers on the street, a lot of machine training, one race on an indoor bike track. First of all, it is a very comfortable bike. Its back dampens vibrations better than the front. The way the combination of a very thin seat tube and a V-shaped seatpost works is just amazing. It’s a hard bike that exquisitely transmits acceleration.

In the short race on the bike track, he performed just fine. He can really be fast. At high accelerations, I heard an unpleasant sound in the area of the seatpost. I think the seatpost is a little loose at the bottom and I need to treat it a bit.

There were almost no problems with the assembly, except that wiring the hydraulic line through the plug was difficult.
