Description

VOICEVELO CHORUS

A chorus hits its peak when the high, low, and harmony parts sync up for a perfect performance. VoiceVelo applied this same logic to their XC platform. When a full-suspension rig is at work, the linkage arcs through its travel, the seatstays drive forward, and the rear wheel tracks up and over obstacles while the fork works the head angle. Even though every part moves on a different trajectory, they all pull together to create forward momentum. VoiceVelo designed the Chorus V-Peaks to ensure every component of the suspension is precisely tuned to act in unison, giving the rider total control over the rhythm of the trail.

KEY FEATURES

GEOMETRY REFINED FOR THE PAN-XC ERA

The days of XC being just "weight-weenie" racing are over. To handle the rise of technical XCM and Down Country riding, VoiceVelo baked modern "long and slack" geometry into this frame:

  • Aggressive Angles: A slacker 67° head angle (with a 120mm fork) paired with a steep 78.3° effective seat tube angle for modern climbing.

  • Dialed Reach: Longer reach numbers (445mm on a Size M) provide a stable cockpit for high-speed technical descents.

  • Snappy Rear End: Short 428mm chainstays across all sizes keep the bike agile and flickable in the corners.

ENHANCED IMPACT STRENGTH

With the Impact Strength Enhanced (ISE) principle, VoiceVelo ditched the old-school compromise between stiffness and strength. By using precision simulations to shrink tubing diameters while slightly thickening the tube walls, they improved the frame’s ability to handle massive impacts on high-stress zones like the downtube, seatstays, and chainstays. This boosts structural integrity and shock absorption, so the frame stays in one piece when things go sideways in a crash—all without adding a single gram of weight penalty.

SPACE-AGE CARBON

This isn't your standard carbon layup. VoiceVelo utilizes NGF XN-60 graphite fiber, which boasts a tensile modulus 2.1 times greater than T1000 carbon. Combined with a stable T800 structure, the frame hits a bottom bracket rigidity value of 129.79N/mm - nearly hardtail levels of power transfer. When you lock out the rear shock, the feedback is so direct it feels like you're on a rigid rig, ensuring every watt goes straight into forward motion.

PRO-LEVEL SUSPENSION KINEMATICS

Using professional linkage software, the suspension curve was specially tuned for "far-ranging" XC adventures:

  • Sensitive Off-the-Top: A high initial lever ratio (nearly 2.4) offers sensitivity similar to a Freeride bike for crushing small bumps.

  • Supportive Mid-Stroke: The system maintains an Anti-Squat (AS) value between 105–115% to ensure pedaling efficiency never dips.

  • Bottomless Feel: The ratio drops to 1.8 at the end of the stroke, providing enough ramp-up to prevent harsh bottom-outs on big hits.

PRO-LEVEL SUSPENSION TUNING

VoiceVelo offers pro-tier optional rear shocks with 110mm–120mm of travel:

  • X-Fusion O2-PRO-RLR (Special Tune): Choose the Blue Label (C-Tune) for a tougher, more supportive feel during aggressive riding, or the Gray Label (B-Tune) for a plush, comfortable ride on flowy trails.

  • Öhlins TTX1 Air: The ultimate XC weapon with three riding modes (Open, Pedal, Lock) and 12 levels of rebound adjustment. It’s lightweight, UCI-proven, and compatible with most remote levers on the market.
