Description
OVERFAST: Taking Aero to the Extreme.
What's more aero than aero?
OVERFAST has decided that bike aerodynamics need dialing up to 11 and set to work, creating what they believe is the ultimate crankset for cheating the wind.
Having successfully created a set of mindbendingly light carbon thru axles, they turned their attention to a carbon crankset that had one main focus, reducing drag.
While riders commonly think about deep section wheels or narrower handlebars to make themselves more slippery, OVERFAST is concerned with what riders don't think about. They are looking for that edge that only comes from a special obsession with details.
Being in a position of turbulent air on the bike, most overlook the marginal gains to be had in the crank area but OVERFAST wasn't satisfied with what pleases most.
They seek out the bleeding edge of what's possible, always convinced that there's more to be had.
Marginal Gains Matter
By reshaping the crank arms with a narrower profile and smoothing out transitions, OVERFAST have been able to cut down the resistance created at the heart of the drivetrain.
Aero cranksets can save a handful of watts depending on rider position and setup.
That might sound modest, but across a 40 km time trial those watts translate into seconds gained without any additional effort.
Over the course of a long road race, it can mean conserving enough energy to make a decisive move when it matters most.
Compounding Gains
The advantage is even greater when paired with other aero components. In short, an aero crankset delivers measurable performance to add to your aero package. This is for a rider who wants to squeeze every watt out of their setup. For competitive cyclists chasing every marginal gain, those saved watts can be the difference in race defining moments.
Component Breakdown
OVERFAST Aero Carbon Crankset
The OVERFAST Aero Crankset is built for riders obsessed with speed, efficiency, and uncompromising performance. With aero-profiled carbon fiber arms and a fully sealed non-drive side, it smooths airflow across the drivetrain while remaining incredibly light and stiff.
