RIM

HUB

• The Berd-approved hook flange is designed specially for Berd polymer spokes, which have looped ends. This hub eliminates the need for hub prep or additional treatment, ensuring optimal spoke alignment and long-term durability.

• Hubs are designed and manufactured to match the tolerance of high-quality bearings.

• Ratchet system hubs offer a fast engagement and efficient wheel for a smooth riding experience, which is beneficial for instant speed acceleration.

• High-precision hub axle is hard anodized to add stiffness and reached a tolerance within 0.003mm.

• Hubs provide convenient and easy freehub body exchange between different groupset systems and no-tool needed maintenance.

• Titanium freehub body upgrade is available, which provides exceptional resistance to the cassette biting effect. This means you can enjoy a longer-lasting performance without worrying about the freehub body being damaged by the cassette (the titanium freehub body is 18 grams heavier than the standard alloy freehub body).

SPOKE & NIPPLE

• The Berd polymer spokes are made from an advanced polymer called ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), whcih has exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Compared to the traditional steel spokes, Berd polymer spokes reduce weight and absorb vibrations, resulting in a smoother and comfortable ride.

• The more traditional steel spoke (with Sapim CX-Ray spokes) build is also available.
