$35 for bar tape isn’t cheap, but if your bike costs $5,000 – that’s less than 1% of the budget, for a thing you’re constantly interacting with on every ride. The tape feels grippy even when wet and the 2.5mm thickness feels great when sprinting because there’s no “squish” that thicker tape brings. At 19g for a pair, there’s not many lighter ways to wrap your bars either.
