EXS Airtape II bar tape adopts a new-generation foam material. Compared with Airtape I, it delivers improved resilience. It retains the classic 3mm thickness and 30mm width, while each single roll weighs only 15g — over 50% lighter than regular bar tapes on the market.
The all-new Airtape II bar tape features an upgraded bump texture design to enhance grip and anti-slip performance, delivering better practicality without compromising lightweight properties.
Every detail is refined for weight reduction. The newly designed lightweight bar end plugs weigh only 0.9g each, achieving over 75% weight savings compared with the previous generation.

I run this tape on my superlight SLC. It feels great with or without gloves. I was a bit nervous when installing it; I think it will snap if you pull it too tight. However, it installed as normal and looks great when wrapped. As a guy with smaller hands, I prefer this feeling of a thinner bar tape.

(Four and half stars) This must be the ultimate cheap trick for weight weenies.
Unfeasibly light tape which wraps easily and offers a comfortable grip. It is not a ‘tacky’ tape so if you prefer the surface of Lizard Skins (for instance) this might be a bit of a strange sensation at first.
I have noticed there is a pretty quick rate of compaction to the tape which reduces its shock absorption properties. I have only used mitts without additional palm padding while ridding with this tape.
Overall this is good bar tape for rides of up to 4 hours but beyond this I have noticed a distinct road buzz tingle develop. For me not an issue as not many rides go beyond four hours. But worth bearing in mind if you’re doing 200km+ Audux rides.
Must say the turnaround from PP was top class and I got some nice socks as a bonus too, thanks Joe and the PP team.

Great for loosing some grams,overal feels soft enaugh,but the grip gets wery sleepery when u have sveaty hands. I could live with it on indor trainer,and for now outside i had no problems because it is still very cold,but am fearing the hot summer rides.

Won a set of this bar tape in a Panda podium competition, wasnt sure on the look initially so put off fitting it. Got round to fitting it now and I’m really happy with it. Feels really nice, thinner than the previous stuff I had(with I like personally) and fits really easily as well.
