This is a great crankset for a weight weenie build. One of the chainring holes on the XCADEY power meter was slightly undersized. XCADEY offered a replacement, but I just filed the hole bigger myself. The whole setup is super light (especially considering the presence of a power meter.) Shifting has also been perfect. It occasionally sounds a bit crunchy, but it always shifts so that’s all that matters to me. As a weight weenie, I mainly chose this for the weight to cost to performance ratio, and in that department, it gets 5 stars.

Awesome communication from Tom, answering all of my questions quickly and fully. The product arrived quickly (though I think the DHL express charge is a bit high). the carbon cranks are stunning and so light. I went for the extra price Titanium axle as I prefer 24mm axle for bigger bearings with a PF86. The power meter is easy to set up and use with long battery life and simple charging. The 54 carbon big ring is awesome looking with good shifting. Overall I would give it 5 stars as a package, love it!

Great crankset. The Panda team were very communicative, had a delay due to stock for 160m cranks, but got shipped as soon as they got them in. For the price, quality its an excellent crankset!
The only issues I had was just with the chainring bolts, they rated 7-8mm torque, but I reckon they’re going to be a tad bit less, or get better bolts I almost stripped a bunch of the torx head (lost one bolt in the process – luckily there was a spare). I’d also recommend putting anti-seize or at least grease minimum on the threads, and surface under the bolt otherwise you aren’t getting them out later…
The Xcadey power meter was a bit out of whack at the beginning, so I suggest following its guide and calibrating it (maybe before every ride). I did a comparison against my trainer (jet black victory), which has been tested to be pretty accurate by GPlama, and the Xcadey was reading around 10-15 watts under or 15% under. In the Xcadey app you can adjust the scale. Noting that GPlama tested the version one and it was around 5% under the Favero’s Assioma duo. Values seem consistent given its comparing indoor vs dual meters as well. So Overall im pretty happy with the results.
