Reach
The G handlebar features an ultra-short 68mm reach. This design narrows the rider’s upper-body opening angle compared to standard bars, easing strain on core and waist muscles. The shorter reach delivers sharper handling, enabling quicker responses over bumpy, stony gravel terrain.
Drop
The brand reworks the G handlebar’s drop for off-road use. Deep drops typical of road bike bars force riders into an overly low, unstable position on rough ground, increasing fatigue and risk. Its optimized 112mm drop delivers superior control in the drops during gravel riding, while minimizing long-duration hand fatigue.
Enlarged Palm Support Area
Its flattened, widened upper bar curve creates a broad, flat palm rest once wrapped with bar tape. This expands support for the palm’s metacarpal muscles and effectively relieves hand fatigue during long rides.
Offset Ergonomic Lower Bar Flat Plane
Most conventional bars feature a centered flat section on the drops for comfort, yet riders grip the drops from the outer edge instead of the middle. The G handlebar solves this with an outward-offset inner flat plane on its lower curve. This ergonomic shaping matches natural hand placement, delivering superior comfort when gripping the drops.
VCE Cycling Ergonomics Pads
Riding tests on gravel terrain reveal that standard bar tape alone cannot adequately filter road bumps and vibrations. While double-layer wrapping improves cushioning, it also enlarges the grip diameter and compromises handling feel.
To solve this issue, tailored VCE ergonomic pads are developed exclusively for the G handlebar’s grip and palm contact areas. Installed beneath bar tape, these pads greatly enhance grip comfort and shock absorption. They effectively reduce palm numbness and fatigue caused by continuous vibration during long-distance gravel rides.
